aiSee: Application Examples<>index

The following appications do not incorporate aiSee, but rather offer an aiSee interface by translating other data formats into GDL (fka VCG).

GenRE-Int (Genome Research Environment)

A repository of biological interactions, developed at the German National Research Center for Environment and Health. GenRE-Int uses an object-relational mapping tool to convert interaction data from relational databases to an object model designed to represent the PSI-MI XML standard. It uses aiSee for layouting interaction entworks and automatic generation of HTML imagemaps and PDF documents. More ...

Grammar Tool Box (GTB) and Parser Animation Tool (PTA)

GTB is a toolset for manipulating context free grammars and objects associated with them such as parsers, languages and derivations. GTB can output intermediate structure graphs suitable for visualization with aiSee.
PAT is a Java-based parser animator which takes tables exported from GTB and constructs parse-time objects such as GSS and SPPF which can then be explored with the help of aiSee. More ...

FSA Utilities

A collection of utilities to manipulate finite state automata and finite state transducers. Manipulations include determinization (both for finite state acceptors and finite state transducers), minimization, composition, intersection, complementation, Kleene closure, etc. Supports export of automata to GDL. More ...

CGDI

A gprof-aiSee call graph drawing interface. The profile information generated by the executed C or C++ program and processed by gprof (either SUN or GNU) is filtered and passed to aiSee. CGDI visualizes function calls or, optionally, all calls executed at least once. It also offers a filter for skipping various library functions. More ...

Octagon Abstract Domain Analyzer

A web interface to a simple analyzer included in the Octagon Abstract Domain Library whose goal is to demonstrate the use of the octagon abstract domain in the static analysis field. The analysis computes an octagonal invariant at each program point. The results are presented along with a GDL file representing the control flow graph annotated by the invariant. More ...

p4tree

A Perl script which prints a version tree of a Perforce controlled file. In conjunction with aiSee, p4tree will draw the graph of how a particular file relates to other files in the depot via branches and merges. More ...

Javolution

A tool that can be used to reverse engineer software systems written in Java. Javolution will not only produce a current architectural view of the system, but it will also attempt to compare the current architecture with previous version(s) of the software, and visualize the results with aiSee. For details, please contact aisee@absint.com.

JUMBL

The Java Usage Model Builder Library (JUMBL) is a set of command-line and GUI tools supporting automated, model-based, statistical testing of systems. It supports export of models to various formats, including GDL. More ...

cPersWriterGraph

A graphical writer for Visual Basic. More ...

Excel2GDL

An Excel Macro written in Visual Basic. Download free demo ...

GeLIR

A Generic Low-Level Intermediate Representation developed at the University of Dortmund. See example graph.

ged2vcg

Genealogy visualization: A GEDCOM to GDL translation program by Martin Alt.

Graph-ReadWrite 1.04

A free Perl module from the Canon Research Centre Europe. Capable of writing out directed graphs in GDL format. More ...

Voyeur

A circuit visualization tool that displays a circuit schematic on the screen. It works in conjunction with aiSee and comes with some Perl scripts which will derive a visualization layout from information provided by Carafe. More ...

Ftnchek

Checks FORTRAN 77 code for possible bugs, portability problems, and violations of the standard, e.g. whether subroutine calls have the correct number of arguments. aiSee can be used to display the call graphs produced by ftnchek invoked with the -vcg option.

EvoGraph

A package for graph synthesis by genetic programming. It is based on strongly-typed lilgp and provides a set of GP functions and terminals along with the modifiable site concept for evolving an arbitrary graph. The evolved graph can be viewed with aiSee. More ...

Graphotron

A simple XML language for drawing graphs with XPath. It supports various graph formats, including GDL. More ...

bcg_io

A translation tool from INRIA, the French National Institute for Research in Computer Science and Control. bcg_io converts graphs from BCG, ALDEBARAN, FC2, and SEQUENCE formats to various other formats, including GDL. More ...

MCL2GDL

A Perl script which translates matrices in MCL format into GDL. For details, please contact aisee@absint.com. See also Matrix2GDL, our Web-based conversion tool for whitespace-separated matrices.

aiseemap

Similarly to IRCmap, aiseemap retrieves the structure of an IRC network, tells aiSee to visualize it, and outputs a PNG image of the computed network layout.

dot2gdl

A C++ program that converts GraphViz .dot files into aiSee .gdl files. More ...
