Travelling to AbsInt by train

  • From the north via Koblenz / Trier
    hourly service: RegionalExpress (RE) or InterRegio (IR)
  • From the east via Mannheim / Karlsruhe
    hourly service: IR or Inter-City (IC)
  • From the west via Metz
  • From the south via Strasbourg

From the Saarbruecken Central Station, take a taxi to the Science Park (approx. 10 minutes / 10 EUR).

Alternatively, take bus number 102, 112 or 124 (to "Dudweiler Dudoplatz" or "Uni Busterminal") and get off at the stop "Universität — Botanischer Garten" (approx. 10 minutes / 3 EUR).

Travelling to AbsInt by plane

Saarbruecken Airport has direct connections with the following cities:

  • Antalya
  • Berlin
  • Dresden
  • Duesseldorf
  • Hamburg
  • Leipzig
  • Luxembourg
  • Malaga
  • Munich
  • Thessaloniki

From the airport, take a taxi to the University (approx. 20 minutes / 15 EUR).

Saarbruecken is also tightly connected by train and shuttle bus (every 2 hours) to the airports at Luxembourg and Frankfurt.
