Kate 2.1 or higher, KWrite, Konqueror

To install GDLedit for KDE 3.x, simply copy the downloaded XML file to Kate's syntax files directory:

> tar -xzvf GDLedit.tgz
> cd GDLedit_KDE3x
> cp gdl.xml ~/.kde/share/apps/katepart/syntax/
> more README

Alternatively, you can copy the XML file to the global $(PREFIX)/share/apps/katepart/syntax/ directory. Note that you might have to be logged in as root in order to do so.
