A file selector dialog box appears for all file operations (see figure).
The box shows the files in the current directory by file name and one additional information item, which can be any of the following:
To switch to a directory or select a file name, double-click on the corresponding entry using any mouse button. Alternatively a path can be entered at the bottom of the box, which becomes takes effect after pressing the Rescan button.
The file name takes effect if the dialog box is closed via the OK button.
Note: The file selector box is immediately reopened if the file name is not appropriate, e.g. if writing was to be done in an existing file.
