aiSee for Unix: User Manual<>index

Scaling the graph

If not specified otherwise in the graph specification, aiSee starts with an absolute scale factor of 100% (referred to as "normal"). To scale a graph one of the following three methods can be used.

Keys

The easiest way to scale a graph is by using one of the following keys in the graph window:

Key

Scale factor

=

200% of the current scale factor

+

150% of the current scale factor

-

66% of the current scale factor

_

50% of the current scale factor

0 (zero)

Sets the scale factor to normal (100%)

m

Sets the scale factor so that
the entire graph is visible (maximum aspect)

Scaling bar

The vertical scrollbar at the right of the graph window is used to set the scale factor of the graph. If the "thumb" of the scrollbar is in its middle, scaling is 100%, i.e. it is normal size. The maximum aspect button below the scaling scrollbar sets the scale factor so that the whole graph is entirely visible.

Scale menu

Another way to scale a graph is to use the Scale submenu in the main menu.

Menu item

Scale factor

Normal

100% (absolute)

Maximum Aspect

Sets the scale factor so that the entire graph is visible

X %

Scales to X% of the current scale factor
