Folding

  The nodes belonging to a group are hidden. They are represented by a single node called the summary node. Summary nodes are usually drawn in a different shape and/or color, so that they can be recognized and selected for the reverse operation.

Targets
The fold operation can be chosen for a

• subgraph (menu item Fold Subgraph or pressthe f key),    
• path region (menu item Fold Region...),  
• neighbor region (menu item Fold Neighbors...), or  
• box (menu item Fold Box).  

Reverse Operation
The reverse operation is Unfold/Unbox.   To switch from a summary node directly to another form of representation for groups of nodes, choose one of the following:

• Unfold into Box (or pressthe x key)    
• Unfold into Cluster (or press the t key)  
• Unfold and Wrap (or press the w key)  
• Exclusive
