aiSee: Command Line Options<>index

-

The input comes from stdin instead of a file.

-amax Int

Specifies the number of iterations that are animated after relayout. Specifying 0 means animation is turned off. This value can be changed interactively in the View dialog box. The corresponding GDL graph attribute is amax.

-animation Int

Starts aiSee as an animation handler. After relayout, aiSee sleeps for Int seconds then attempts a callback to the parent process. To enable callback, use the -callback option.

-bary

Barycenter is used for calculating the weights during crossing reduction. This is the default and also the fastest method for graphs with nodes whose average degree is very large, the degree of a node being the total of incoming and outgoing edges. The corresponding GDL specification is crossing_weight: bary. See also -barymedian, -median, and -medianbary.

-barymedian

Use a combination of barycenter and mediancenter weights during crossing reduction, with barycenter having priority and mediancenter only being used for nodes whose barycenter weights are equal. The corresponding GDL specification is crossing_weight: barymedian. See also -bary, -median, and -medianbary.

-bending Int

Sets the maximum number of iterations of the phase reducing edge bends. Edge bends are used to prevent edges from being drawn across nodes. Reducing the number of iterations reduces layout calculation time, however the layout quality may suffer. The default value is 100. The corresponding GDL graph attribute is bmax.

-blackwhite

The output file is monochromatic. This is the default setting. This option is useful for PostScript output only, see -psoutput.

-blackwhite

Suppresses the use of colors on a color screen, see -nocolors.

-bm Float Unit

Sets the bottom margin of the output to Float Units. No top margin may be specified otherwise this option doesn't work. The graph is centered on the page by default. This option is useful only if the graph fits on the page. For the available Units, see -width.

-bmpoutput Name

A bitmap file named Name containing a color picture of the graph is written in BMP format. It is advisable to use this option in combination with -silent. To export a black and white picture, use -nocolors.

-borderwidth Int

Specifies the border width of the window. Useful for Unix versions of aiSee only.
