aiSee: Command Line Options<>index

-noBoundingBox

Suppresses the calculation of a bounding box for PostScript output.

-nocedges

Switches the -cedges style explicitly off.

-nocolors

Suppresses the use of colors on a color screen. On a monochrome screen the graph is drawn in black and white, with black and white mode being similated on a color screen. This option is useful if aiSee conflicts with other programs requiring colors. If this option is used in combination with -ppmoutput, the output file will be monochromatic.

-nocopt2

Deactivates crossing reduction phase two. In this phase, nodes having equal crossing weights are permuted. This is the most time-consuming phase of crossing reduction. The corresponding GDL graph attribute is crossing_phase2.

-nocoptloc

Deactivates the crossing optimization phase, which works locally. It is a postprocessing phase after normal crossing reduction. It tries to optimize locally by exchanging pairs of nodes to reduce the number of crossings. The corresponding GDL graph attribute is crossing_optimization.

-noedges

Suppresses the drawing of edges in the top-level graph and in all nested subgraphs. The corresponding GDL graph attribute is edges.

-noedgesubst

Substitution of all edges after folding operations is turned off.

-nofinetune

Switches off the fine-tuning phase of the graph layout algorithm. The fine-tuning phase tries to improve the ranks of nodes in order to give all edges the same length and to avoid very long edges. The corresponding GDL graph attribute is finetuning.

-nofstraight

This is the default setting. See -fstraight.

-nographsubst

Substitution of edges between graphs after folding operations is turned off.

-noicons

Disables displaying of icons in nodes. Displaying of icons can be enabled again interactively from the View dialog box. The corresponding GDL graph attribute is icons.

-nolinseg

This is the default setting. See -linseg.

-nomanhattan

This is the default setting. See -manhattan.

-nonearedge

All near edges are treated as normal edges in the graph layout. The corresponding GDL graph attribute is near_edges.

-nonodes

Suppresses the drawing of nodes in the top-level graph and all nested subgraphs. The corresponding GDL graph attribute is nodes.

-noprio

Switches the priority phase explicitly off. This option is useful only if -manhattan is selected. The corresponding GDL graph attribute is priority_phase. See also -prio.

-noshiftc

Switches the shifting of near edge connected components off.

-nosmanhattan

This is the default setting. See -smanhattan.

-nospringtune

This is the default setting. See -springtune.

-nostraight

Switches the straight phase explicitly off. This option is useful only if -manhattan is selected. The corresponding GDL graph attribute is straight_phase. See also -straight.
